We’ve been coming here for 3yrs now at least. We will not be coming back. I called to pay my bill & I tried to talk to them about my concern about how their tech Donna was w/ our son & they dismissed it by saying “we’ll have to let her know to look over his file next appointment.” No apology & they didn’t ask for any details. My son is on the spectrum. Part of that diagnosis is SPD (Sensory Processing Disorder), meaning he has a delay. It takes him a few seconds for his brain to hear what you’ve said & comply. She was rough in his mouth & kept repeating herself over & over & over & over until he would comply, which can overwhelm a child like ours. Every time I would try to speak up for him, she would talk over me. He’s 9 & we are teaching him autonomy, so I didn’t want to jump in & say “you’re hurting him”. I asked afterwards if she was rough in his mouth & he agreed. I don’t think she particularly hurt him per se, but she was rough w/ him. I could tell when she took us back that she was not happy to see us by her face & attitude, we were not greeted at all, but I was trying to give her the benefit of doubt since this was our 1st time w/ her. If you're looking for a dentist for your little ones, Dr. Laura McAuley at Ready, Set, Smile in Pensacola is so great. From the front porch into the rooms, the entire place is designed and decorated with kids in mind. There is a cool huge connect 4 game on the porch, if you wanna wait for your appt outside. In the waiting room we were met with a sign that had all the new patients first names on it, including our daughter's, welcoming them. The waiting room is huge with a full toy kitchen and legos and plenty of other toys. When we went back to the individual rooms, there were so many tooth and dentist themed toys that our daughter got to play with while getting her teeth brushed and checked. She brushed a dragons teeth for a full 10 mins. They also had a copy of the Dr. Suess Tooth Book, signed by Dr. McAuley for us to bring home, and a cute Winnie the Pooh toothbrush. Everyone was so nice and we are so happy that her first appt was at such a great office. Highly recommend!

Fantastic group of people, very patient with my 4 year old daughter that gets very nervous. They helped make her feel calm and comfortable. Cant say enough great things about this dentist!

Highly recommended! Best pediatric dentist we've ever been to (we've been to 4 across the US). Bright colored paint, decor with a welcoming lobby including blocks and play kitchen. Staff was friendly and great at interacting with kids. They were very efficient and knew how to explain things to kid mine ask tons of questions). They did a great job of explaining things to me as the parent and showing me specifically how I could improve my kids dental health. (Shout out to Tammy and Donna!) An extra guest chair next to each patient chair and toys under the patient chair for kids waiting for a sibling. Dr. Laura was excellent as well. she's clearly experienced at working with kids. Got a $30 discount for being military. Big Connect 4 game outside the front door and cute garden stakes to welcome kids right from the parking lot. We will definitely be back (but we will schedule our appointments a lot sooner, since they fill up fast!). Update: we've now been back several times (with kids ages 2-7) and we've had great experiences every time. They're always prompt (we have never had to wait a while for our appointment). Great Dentist...Great Staff! They really have a way with making children feel comfortable about being at the dentist. My toddler is extremely no a fan of doctors yet, while visiting Dr. McAuley office for her first dental appointment, my toddler was very happy and interactive with her cleaning! She was so excited to be there and talked about it for hours after leaving.
